Under the supervision of the Program Officer for Data Policy and Governance (PO-DPG) and the strategic direction of the Project Manager for Data Policy and Governance (PM-DPG), the Project Officer plays a key role in implementing the activities of the Defending Rights in the Digital Age initiative. With administrative support from the Program Assistance for Data Policy and Governance (PA-DPG) and Tifa Foundation’s internal support team, the Project Officer is responsible for managing the entire project management cycle.
This role provides an opportunity to coordinate and integrate more comprehensive research and advocacy on digital governance that respects human rights. It also offers space to engage and facilitate collaboration with diverse stakeholders involved in policy formulation. In terms of strengthening the digital security resilience support ecosystem, this role provides an opportunity to explore various approaches and experiment with strategies in delivering digital security support for civil society organizations amid the ongoing shrinking civic space.
