Open Bidding: Knowledge Center Module and Microsite Creation

Background
The Safe Journalism Program was launched in late 2021 as a collaborative effort to protect and empower journalists in Indonesia. The program involves Tifa Foundation, PPMN, and HRWG, with the support of the Royal Netherlands Government. Through this program, we seek to create a safe environment for journalists, especially in the face of risks and threats in the digital and physical realms.

Objectives
In order to support these objectives, we are opening a tender for a consulting team competent in the creation of a Knowledge Center Microsite and digital security module. This platform will be a knowledge center that can be accessed by journalists, media workers, students, media and human rights activists, and researchers. It is hoped that the consultant can provide quality, up-to-date and relevant modules and content to support press freedom and security in Indonesia.

Output
An interactive and accessible Knowledge Center microsite. The microsite contains:

  1. 10 Digital security online modules.
  2. 10 in-depth articles on journalist safety.
  3. 4 informative infographics.
  4. Referral link to the Safe Journalism stakeholder portal.

Consultant Criteria

  1. At least 5 years of experience in website and online module development, especially in the field of digital security.
  2. A portfolio that reflects the ability to produce quality modules and content in the field of journalism and human rights.
  3. Mastery of responsive web design, interactive online module development, and digital security.
  4. Ability to produce in-depth and accurate content, and experience in writing journalism and human rights issues.
  5. Expertise in collaboration with consortium members and stakeholders.
  6. Credibility and reliability proven through portfolio, certifications, and previous project recommendations.
  7. Innovative and creative solutions for microsite development and digital security modules.
  8. Commitment to the sustainability and maintenance of the Knowledge Center microsite.

We invite competent consultant teams to participate in this open tender. Through synergistic cooperation and contributions from the selected consultant, we hope to realize the vision and goals of the Safe Journalism Program, creating a safe and empowering environment for journalists in Indonesia.
